Installing the application is a simple matter of following the instructions presented by a setup wizard. BS1 Accounting works with all Windows versions from Windows 95 up to Windows 7. The system requirements are incredibly low: 16MB memory, 5MB disk space, 80486 or better processor.
The first time you run BS1 Accounting you will find that the interface is focused on functionality, not on eye candy. It is designed to take little space on your monitor. Access to the main functions is done through a series of dropdown menus and icons.

Getting back to BS1 Accounting, the small business accounting software provides support for multiple currencies and user-defined financial statements.
Programmers will be glad to find out that the Delphi source code of BS1 Accounting is available for download. Everyone else will be glad to find out that the functionality BS1 Accounting has to offer doesn’t cost a thing. The application is free.

It downloads and installs in an instant and it works with just about any Windows versions. Its system requirements are so low that it will run on any system on the market today. It is an integrated accounting system that covers Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Inventory, and Sales Analysis. The built-in company example helps you get started. BS1 Accounting is free and its Delphi code is available for download.
Cons
The interface isn’t very appealing; it has a Windows 98 feel.
